Safe Score in CUET 2025: Below is an estimate of the possible Safe Score based on the provisional answer key. Note, this is only an initial analysis – slight changes are possible when the final normalized score is released.
Safe Score in CUET 2025 for JNU (Foreign Language & GAT Based Courses)
If you are applying for foreign language courses like Korean, Japanese, Spanish etc. in Jawaharlal Nehru University, then you have to give one language + one GAT paper, whose total marking goes up to 500. In such a case:
A score of 340 or above can be considered to be safe, whereas earlier this score used to go up to 400.

Safe Score in CUET 2025 for BHU (Banaras Hindu University)
The performance of students has also dropped a bit for Banaras Hindu University this time. Most of the students are getting low scores.
If your score is above 400, then you are likely to get a good branch in UG courses.
Science Stream – B.Sc
460+ score has been common in previous years for B.Sc Physics, Chemistry or Bio subjects.
This time, even students with 450+ scores will be in a safe position in a good branch, as the level of overall score has dropped.
Maths Stream
If you have given CUET with Maths and your total score is between 400 to 450, then you are in a safe zone.
Even with a score below this, you may get a chance in some departments, but this score will be considered sufficient for the top branches.
B.Tech (Engineering via CUET)
Admission to B.Tech in BHU is possible through CUET. While earlier a score of 500+ was required, this time there is a possibility of getting admission even with a score of 480 to 490.

Safe Score in CUET 2025 for Delhi University (DU)
Arts Courses (North Campus)
Many students have scored very well this time in Arts subjects, especially in Geography, History, Political Science, etc.
Some students have even scored 250 out of 250 marks.
If your score is 700–750+, then there is a good chance of admission in top colleges of North Campus like Ramjas, Kirori Mal, etc.
Science Courses
The paper level in the Science stream was a little high, which is why the scores are also lower than expected.
If your score is between 510 to 530, then this time you can get a good college, whereas earlier this score was considered 600+.
Commerce Courses
The cutoff for the Commerce stream may be slightly lower than before.
If you are scoring 700 or above then you can get a seat in a top college, whereas earlier this cutoff used to be 730+.
Management (BMS, BBA)
Students with 560–580 scores can get good options in Management Courses like BBA, BMS etc.
If you are scoring 600+, then you can get admission in top DU colleges like Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS).

Safe Score in CUET 2025 for Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI)
The score range for most of the courses in Jamia has been 330–340 in the past years.
This year, students with 320+ scores on the basis of the provisional answer key are likely to get admission in good departments, as the level of the paper was relatively difficult.
