NEET 2025 West Bengal State Counselling: Step-by-Step Process

As easy as it may seem to understand state counselling, it is actually a very sensitive and attention-demanding phase. First of all, you have to go to the website of WBMCC and register online.

At the time of registration, you have to fill in information like name, father’s name, NEET roll number, score, mobile number and Aadhaar. After this, you will get a login ID and password through which you can upload documents.

After document verification, WBMCC releases a merit list which includes both your NEET rank and WB state merit rank. Based on this, you are able to do your college preference i.e. choice filling.

In choice filling, it is very important to keep in mind that you fill the preference only after looking at your rank, cutoff trend and future prospects. If you are confused about the cutoff, then it would be better if you fill out the preferences of 40 to 50 colleges so that you do not miss a single chance.

When the choice filling is completed, WBMCC allots the seat, and you have to report to the allotted college on time. Only after this is your seat considered final.
