NEET 2025 Expected Cut-off All India Quota Rank Course Wise

MBBS- Government MBBS College Cutoff Based on All India Rank

There is the highest competition for MBBS, and due to limited seats, the difference in rank becomes very big. According to the rank mentioned in the table below, you can understand how safe your position is.

Category Safe Rank Boundary Line Rank (Risk Zone)
General Up to 25,500 Up to 27,000
EWS Up to 29,000 Up to 30,000
OBC Up to 26,000 Up to 28,500
SC Up to 1,50,000 Up to 1,70,000
ST Up to 1,90,000 Up to 2,00,000

If your rank is below the safe cutoff, you will almost certainly get a government MBBS seat. But if you are on the boundary line, then stay for the entire counselling process – seats come out in the last round.

BDS (Dental)- Government Dental College Cutoff and Prospects

Students are now considering BDS as a permanent career option rather than an optional course. The reason for this is its surgical and clinical scope, which is better for private practice.

Category Safe Rank Boundary Line Rank (Risk Zone) Last Year Rank
General 75,000 90,000 1,45,000
EWS 85,000 1,10,000 5,27,000
OBC 80,000 95,000 1,20,000
SC 2,25,000 2,50,000 2,25,000
ST 3,00,000 3,20,000 3,00,000

Due to seats remaining vacant in the Special Stray Round, sometimes even people with very low ranks get BDS. Therefore, every student should remain in the process till the end.

BAMS (Ayurveda)- Ayurveda Medical College Cutoff (AIQ)

BAMS is the most preferred course in the field of AYUSH. Especially if MBBS is not available, it comes as a strong option.

NEET Category Expected Safe Rank Risk Zone (Upper Limit)
General Up to 1,10,000 Up to 1,15,000
EWS Up to 1,21,000 Up to 1,25,000
OBC Up to 1,15,000 Up to 1,20,000
SC Up to 2,75,000 Up to 3,00,000
ST Up to 3,30,000 Up to 3,50,000

Smart strategies should be adopted while filling both BAMS and BDS. As students move towards one course, the seats of the other increase this benefits those students who make the right choice at the right time.

Homeopathy- Chances of getting a seat in BHMS (Homeopathy)

Homeopathy is a separate field of medical science, which still gets good recognition, especially in rural India. BHMS is a better option for those students who want to make a career in biology and are not able to get MBBS/BAMS.

NEET Category Expected Safe Rank Risk Zone (Upper Limit)
General 2,25,000 2,30,000
EWS 2,50,000 2,60,000
OBC 2,35,000 2,40,000
SC 4,00,000 4,20,000
ST 4,50,000 4,70,000

If your rank is near the boundary line, don’t worry. There are a lot of seats in BHMS and if you fill the options correctly, there is a possibility of getting a seat.

BUMS (Unani)- Unani Medical College Cutoff

Unani medicine is slowly becoming the choice of students, especially in areas where it has been traditionally practiced.

NEET Category Expected Safe Rank Risk Zone (Upper Limit)
General 2,30,000 2,40,000
OBC 2,35,000 2,45,000
SC 5,00,000 5,20,000
ST 7,00,000 7,20,000

BUMS cutoff is slightly higher than BHMS because it has fewer seats but the demand is higher, especially in North India.

BVSc (Veterinary)- Veterinary Science Cutoff

Veterinary Science is no longer limited to just veterinary science. Fields like research, pharma, dairy technology and animal husbandry open up in it, so it has now reached a high cutoff.

NEET Category Expected Safe Rank Risk Zone (Upper Limit)
General 90,000 1,00,000
EWS 1,10,000 1,15,000
OBC 90,000 95,000
SC 2,30,000 2,50,000
ST 2,80,000 3,00,000

For those children who do not get a rank in MBBS or BDS and still want a career in Bio  BVSc has emerged as a super choice.

Conclusion: Your All India Rank is your real counselling guide. If your rank is in the “Safe Zone”, you need not panic – a seat is guaranteed. But if you are on the boundary line, participate actively in every round. Many students end up getting a seat they had never imagined.
