CUET UG 2025 Answer Key: How to Check Answer Key- An Easy Guide
First of all open Google and in the search bar write: “CUET UG 2025 Answer Key NTA” So that you can directly access the official link, and no fake website will open.
Go to the official website (cuet.nta.nic.in) and scroll down the page a bit. There will be a section named “Candidate Activity” from which you can check the answer key.
Click on the link “Answer Key Challenge“.This link will take you to a new login page where you will be able to login by entering your information.
To log in, you will need two things: Your Application Number, which you got while filling the CUET form.
Your Password or Date of Birth, which you set at the time of registration.
After logging into the system, you will see a list of the subjects you have given, such as Physics, Chemistry, Math, etc.
For each subject, you will see the Question ID of each question and the Option ID of the answer you have chosen.
Look carefully – the answer you have chosen will be clearly written below each question.
CUET UG 2025 Answer Key: How to match your answers?
This time NTA has given the answers in a roundabout way. That is, they did not directly say “Answer is A or B”, but gave the correct Option ID for each question.
So what you have to do is:
Write down the Question ID of each question
Write down the Option ID of the option you have chosen as an answer
Now go back to the View Section of the Answer Key and look for the Correct Option ID for the same Question ID
If your chosen Option ID and the Correct Option ID match, then understand that your answer is absolutely correct.
What to do if an answer seems wrong?
If you feel that the answer you have given is correct but NTA has marked it wrong, then you can challenge the Answer Key.
Step-by-step process to challenge:
First of all, note down the Question ID of that question and the Option ID that you consider correct.
Now go to the link “Answer Key Challenge” and select your Option ID in front of that Question ID.
While submitting the challenge, a fee of ₹ 200 will be charged for each question, which is non-refundable.
The expert committee of NTA will review that question, and if your claim is found to be correct, it will be changed in the Final Answer Key.

CUET UG 2025 Answer Key Out: How to estimate marks?
Every correct answer gets +5 marks, so multiply the number of correct answers by 5. Every wrong answer has a negative marking of -1 mark, so multiply the number of wrong answers by 1 and subtract it from the total. There is no marking for missed questions – no bonus, no negative.
This Year, the Answer Key has been presented in a slightly complex form, but if you have patience and match the IDs carefully, you can easily check your performance.
Once the Final Answer Key is out, you will be able to understand your result in a better way, so at this time, do the right analysis based on the provisional key.
