MCC counselling will begin from July 21, 2025, while for most states, counselling will begin from July 30.

NEET UG 2025 MCC Counselling Schedule vs State
MCC (Medical Counselling Committee) conducts counselling for MBBS and BDS seats at the all India level for:
15% AIQ Government Medical Colleges
Deemed Universities
Central Universities (like AMU, BHU, DU)
AIIMS and JIPMER
State Counselling Authorities of their respective states:
85% Government Medical Seats
100% Private/Minority/Trust Colleges Counselling for MBBS/BDS seats.
Ayush (BAMS, BHMS, BUMS) and Veterinary (BVSc) counselling will start after August.
NEET UG 2025 MCC Counselling Schedule: Detailed Procedure
Round 1: July 21 to 31
Registration: July 21-28 at www.mcc.nic.in
Last date for payment: July 28 at 3 pm
Choice filling date: July 22 to 28 (after release of set matrix)
Choice locking date: July 28 at 4 pm
Result: Tentative on 30th and final on 31s
Joining: Report to the college between August 1-6
Round 2: August 12-21
Registration: August 12-18 for new students only
Choice filling date: August 13-18
Result: Tentative on 20th, final on 21st
Joining: August 22-29
Round 3 (Cumulative): 3-11 September
Registration + Choice Filling: 3-8 September
Result: 11 September
Joining: 12-18 September
Vacancy Round: 22-27 September
Registration: 22-24 September
Choice Filling: 22-25 September
Result: 27 September
Joining: 27 September to 3 October
Note: If you do not join even after getting admission in one of the colleges from the vacancies, you may be out of the counselling next year.

NEET UG 2025 MCC Counselling Schedule Important Notes
Divyang Students: Notification can come anytime, go immediately and get the certificate.
Caution in filling options: You will get only the college which you have put in the list.
You can fill both MBBS + BDS options: Fill MBBS first and then BDS.
Gap Certificate: This will be asked at the time of admission, not before that.
Documents: Visit the college with allotment letter, original documents, demand draft or fee cheque.
When will the classes start?
According to the NEET UG 2025 MCC Counselling Schedule, MBBS 2025 classes may start from September 1. There may be a delay of 10-15 days at some places due to orientation and medical checkup.
Even if someone gets a seat in the third round or a seat remains vacant, there is no fear of missing the class – you can easily complete your preparation by making notes, etc.
