Who can participate in NEET 2025 UP Counseling?
It is mandatory to be NEET 2025 qualified. And you must have crossed the NEET cutoff marks and percentile. For Uttar Pradesh domicile certificate is necessary if you want to take admission in a government seat of state quota.
However, domicile is not mandatory in private medical colleges admission, so students from other states can also take admission in private colleges of UP without any domicile certificates.

NEET 2025 UP Counselling Step-by-Step Counselling Process
Online Registration: First of all you have to register yourself by visiting the UP NEET website. in which you needs basic details, documents and mobile number have to be entered.
Registration Fee Payment: The registration fee in UP counseling is about ₹ 2000 which is non-refundable. This has to be paid by everyone whether you apply for a government seat or a private one.
Security deposit: This amount varies according to the college and admission course type. like-
₹30,000 for a government MBBS seat
₹2,00,000 for a private MBBS seat
₹1,00,000 for a private BDS seat
This amount is held till reporting after seat allotment, and is refunded if the seat is not taken.
Choice filling: After registration, you have to fill your college choice preferences. This is where the biggest difference comes in you get a seat based on the order you have entered so fill the choice correctly.
Seat allotment: You will be allotted a college as per merit, rank and your choice filling. After this, you have to report.
Reporting and document verification: After choice filling now You have to go to the college and confirm the seat by showing your documents.
