How Are Government MBBS Seats Allocated in NEET?
Two types of quota systems are applicable for getting seats in government medical colleges:
1. 15% All India Quota (AIQ) – All candidates from all over the country can participate in this. This is done through counseling by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC).
2. 85% from State Quota – This is done by the counseling agency of the concerned state, and only the candidates of that state get first priority.
